E-bike rebates and incentives in your state 

California E-bike Incentive Project

Qualifying California residents could be eligible for an e-bike incentive ranging from $1000 to $2000 depending on income qualifications. The application window is not yet determined but is anticipated to open this summer.

Contra Costa County

Qualifying Contra Costa County residents can get a $150 rebate when they purchase a brand-new electric bike or up to $500 if income qualified.

Richmond-San Rafael Commuter

Qualifying Alameda, Contra Costa, and Marin County residents can get up to a $500 rebate when they purchase a brand-new electric bike or up to $1000 if income qualified.

Replace your Ride

Qualifying Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Orange County residents can apply for the Replace Your Ride program. The program allows residents to trade in their used car, and get up to $7,500 to put towards the purchase of an e-bike.

Colorado E-bike Tax Credit

Colorado residents can receive a $450 tax credit on select E-bike purchases at participating retailers.

Denver Climate Rebates

Qualifying Denver residents could be eligible for an e-bike rebate ranging from $300 to $1400 depending on income qualifications and select bike model purchases. Rebate applications for 2024 will open on February 27, April 30, June 25, August 27, and October 29 and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tampa Gov Voucher Program

Qualifying Tampa city residents could be eligible for an e-bike voucher ranging from $1000 to $3000 depending on income qualifications. The 2024 fall application window open on August 16. Vouchers will be awarded via a lottery format.

Atlanta E-bike Rebate

Qualifying Atlanta residents could be eligible for an e-bike rebate ranging from $500 to $2000 depending on income qualifications and select bike model purchases.

Lansing Board of Water & Light E-bike Rebate

Customers of Lansing Board of Water & Light can apply for a e-bike rebate ranging from $300 to $1500 depending on income qualifications and select bike model purchases.

Minnesota Department of Revenue E-bike Rebate

Qualifying Minnesota residents could be eligible for an e-bike rebate up to $1500. The rebate covers 50-75% of the purchasers expense, depend on annual income. The online application window opens on June 5, and the vouchers will be distributed on July 1.

Raleigh E-bIke Program

Qualifying Raleigh residents could be eligible for a $500 or $1,500 e-bike incentive voucher depending on income qualifications. The application period is opens October 28 thru November 10.

Qualifying members of Austin Energy can get up to a $600 rebate when they purchase a brand-new electric bike or up to $1300 if income qualified.

Qualifying Salt Lake City residents could be eligible for an e-bike incentive ranging from $300 to $1300 depending on income qualifications and select bike model purchases. The application period is open – Tuesday, July 9 through Tuesday, July 16.
