You want a race-ready downhill frame with geometry designed to break records. You appreciate the individualization that the frameset-only package offers, so that you can choose every part to your liking.
The tech you get
Session 27.5 Carbon Frameset is spec'd to give you every ounce of speed and handling while descending. Our OCLV Mountain Carbon frame comes with Fox' s Factory Float X2 rear suspension and Active Braking Pivot technology. It's highly adjustable with EVO Link and Mino Link for the ideal geometry wherever you ride.
The final word
Choose your components and Session 27.5 Carbon Frameset is ready to race. Aggressive geometry ushers you to the finish line, while the 27.5˝ wheel spec is great for flicking the bike around. It's our best, most nimble downhill frame.
See it in action
Why you'll love it
Superlight carbon takes us downhill crazy fast, but we don't have to baby it
Wide-ranging adjustability for the best fit through EVO Link and Mino Link
27.5 wheels are great for flicking the bike around through the most technical trail
Fast 27.5˝ wheels get you down the mountain first
Mino Link and fixed-angle headset cups let you adjust your geometry for the exact handling you want
A damn fast bike
Session allows you to hit sections at ridiculous speeds and commitment levels. It's been nothing but grin-inducing to get to know the Session so far.
Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.
Trek's mountain-specific carbon fiber is tougher carbon, with unique materials and layup procedures, Trek's advanced engineering, and a higher standard of testing.
Trek Factory Racing's Reece Wilson charged his way into the rainbow jersey aboard Session this year, taking all the right risks on a slick course and carving his name in Downhill's history books with a truly gutsy run.
Fine tune head tube angle by 1/2° and BB height by up to 10mm with the simple turn of a nut. Just flip the link to choose between slack or slacker geometry, without negatively affecting suspension performance. A Trek exclusive.
Sometimes you need a little extra protection, so we developed our light, tough external Carbon Armor polymer shield. It provides reassurance when you know your down tube is bound to take some abuse.

How tall are you?
To measure your height, stand straight up, barefoot, with your back, heels, shoulders and head all touching a wall. While looking straight ahead, place a book or straight edge on your head and slowly push it against the wall. Your straight edge should be parallel with the floor. Mark the spot where the bottom of the book is touching the wall. The distance from the marked spot to the floor is your height.
What is your inseam?
How to measure: Stand barefoot with your back straight and against a wall. Tuck a ruler or something that extends to the floor between your legs. Using both hands, and keeping it level, pull the ruler up into your crotch as if you were sitting on the saddle. Measure the distance from the top edge of the ruler to the ground to find your inseam measurement. Your inseam is very important to your final bike size so please measure carefully.
