How to buy a Trek bike online

Online bike-buying made easy

Finding your perfect ride online is easy, and buying it can be just as simple! Here, you'll find all the tools you need to find your trusty steed, decide on your ideal delivery option, and more.

We recommend looking at your local shop’s inventory first. The bike you want might be closer than you think, and if your retailer has it in stock, you could get it even faster. Can’t find the bike you want in-store? Don’t worry — you can still support your locally-owned Trek or Electra retailer. They’ll build, test, and install any accessories you need before you start pedaling. Plus, they’ll be your point of contact for all service and warranty needs.

Expert advice from Trek

Online resources are great, but there’s nothing like expert advice from a real person. You can connect with your local Trek or Electra retailer directly or call us at Trek Headquarters or call us directly Monday through Friday at 1-800-585-8735. We’re here for you.

Every rider deserves a bike that fits and feels great, no matter their body type, style of riding, or level of experience. That's why we make great bikes for everybody and every body.

The best fit for you depends primarily on your height and inseam. That's true whatever your gender, as gender matters far less in finding the bike that's best for you than other factors.

The Trek Size Finder

Each bike model page has a sizing chart with frame size recommendations. But, if you need a little help determining the bike size that’s best for you, use our Size Finder. All you need is a measuring device for your height and inseam.

If you fall between sizes, we recommend contacting your retailer or giving us a call at 800-585-8735 (M–F) for a quick consult.

As you search for your new bike, you’ll be able to see whether we’ve got it in stock or if it’s available at a Trek or Electra retailer near you!

If it’s not in stock at your local shop, you can order it from us and we’ll ship it to the closest Trek or Electra retailer of your choice or ship it directly to you. If it is in stock locally, you can buy it online and pick it up in-store or have your local shop assemble it and deliver it right to your door.

The Store Locator

When shopping for a bike, the closest store with in-stock inventory will automatically display on the product page. You can buy directly from this store or select another location. Need help finding your local shop? Use our handy Store Locator to find the closest store to you.

Adding all the bells and whistles can bring your ride to the next level. Lights, pedals*, helmets, bottles, kickstands, and more can be added and installed on your bike at the shop, or included with your online order. Trek retailers offer tons of accessories you can browse in store — but if you know what you're looking for, we can always ship to your home or local shop.

*Many bikes include pedals, but some do not. If your bike is photographed without pedals, they will not be included with the bike.

Registration is a quick and easy way to protect your new-bike investment. It provides a record of your serial number in case your bike is ever lost or stolen and will help us get in touch with you with important product information.
