The Walkthrough
Why you'll love it
OCLV Mountain Carbon is race-light and trail-strong
The IsoSpeed decoupler makes it ride smoother than any other hardtail, so your body doesn't get beat up by trail chatter
New internal control routing is super easy to use thanks to built-in channels that guide your hose or housing easily through the frame
You get a Straight Shot downtube for extra-stiff, responsive handling without added weight, and a Knock Block headset that protects against spinning bars and fork crowns
10/10 Editor's choice
"Faster with less fatigue than any other XC hardtail in test...Procaliber was still the smoothest bike here."
"Procaliber offers a more comfortable ride than a traditional hardtail. It's noticeable right away. Ready to go uphill and down with no regard for anything except stopping to get on the podium."

IsoSpeed takes the edge off body-beating small bumps and trail chatter so you can stay stronger longer, without giving up any pedaling efficiency.
OCLV Mountain Carbon
Trek's mountain-specific carbon fiber is tougher carbon, with unique materials and layup procedures, Trek's advanced engineering, and a higher standard of testing.
Straight Shot downtube gives you an extra-stiff frame without adding any weight, so you can stick your line through the rough stuff and still fly up the next climb.
Easier internal routing
Integrated channels in the frame make it super easy to route cable housing and brake hose so you get a clean set-up with no hassle.
Knock Block has your frame's back when things go wrong. It prevents your handlebars from spinning all the way around in a crash, so your hoses won't get yanked, and your controls won't hit the top tube.

How tall are you?
To measure your height, stand straight up, barefoot, with your back, heels, shoulders and head all touching a wall. While looking straight ahead, place a book or straight edge on your head and slowly push it against the wall. Your straight edge should be parallel with the floor. Mark the spot where the bottom of the book is touching the wall. The distance from the marked spot to the floor is your height.
What is your inseam?
How to measure: Stand barefoot with your back straight and against a wall. Tuck a ruler or something that extends to the floor between your legs. Using both hands, and keeping it level, pull the ruler up into your crotch as if you were sitting on the saddle. Measure the distance from the top edge of the ruler to the ground to find your inseam measurement. Your inseam is very important to your final bike size so please measure carefully.
