We do not recommend changing the chain ring size on these bikes. Chain ring tooth count is based on a lot of factors to provide the best ride experience for your child.
The bike comes with an MTB style front mudguard and has mounts for adding a kickstand. You can add a set of lights and we'd recommend adding them for visibility.
No, the Wahoo Trail is not compatible with training wheels.
With lots of different car rack options, we recommend that you check with your local Trek retailer for specifics and advice on how to carry your kids bike by car.
This frame has been tested to mountain bike testing standards making it capable for mountain bikes. We always recommend safety and riding within one’s limits.
