What are the key features of this new platform?

All-new frame with a high pivot suspension design
- geometry same as acoustic slash
- optional angle-adjust headset cups
- 170 mm travel front and rear
- Leverage rate adjustment chip
– Stock mixed-wheel builds (29” front, 27.5” rear) on all sizes except S (27.5” front and rear)
- Updated frame protection with Integrated Carbon Armour and a noise-reducing chainstay guard
– Room for longer dropper posts
- Unique TQ HPR50 motor tuned for use with high pivot

Is it compatible with other wheel/tyre sizes?

No, this bike is only authorised for use with the stock MX wheels. Swapping out the rear 27.5” wheel to a 29” wheel could change the classification of this e-bike, and make it ineligible for operation on trails.

In which Mino Link position is the bike delivered?

Slash does not use Mino Link; however, the geometry can be adjusted by replacing the headset cups.

Is it compatible with aftermarket shocks? Which ones?

YES. Fox X2, Rockshox Super Deluxe coil, Rockshox Vivid Air, Rockshox Super Deluxe Air. Others may fit but should be checked for clearance at full travel.

Can I use a shock with a longer stroke to increase the rear travel?

No, you will want to stick with the standard 230x65 eye-to-eye and stroke.

Do any frame sizes feature curved top tubes for lower standover?

Yes, the small size features a curved top tube.

What sizes are compatible with a water bottle?

All sizes come with 1 water bottle cage, the small will only fit a 591 ml (20 oz) bottle.

Which models come tubeless? Which models need additional parts?

ALL models come out of the box set up tubeless.

Does it have any frame storage, hidden tools or other concealed accessories?

The Slash+ does not have any frame storage. Some of the models include the Bontrager BITS steer tube tool.

Is the bike compatible with a dual crown fork?

They will fit, but we haven’t tested them, so we cannot recommend a dual crown fork on Slash+ at this time. However, you can put a 190 mm single-crown fork on there, and that’s pretty close and has a better turning radius.

Is it compatible with Range Extender?

Yes, all sizes are compatible with the TQ Range Extender battery, and the bike can also be powered only using the range extender when the internal battery is removed. p/n 5289555

Will I ever need to update the firmware of my bike?

Yes, you will need to update the bike’s firmware occasionally as TQ rolls out improvements and new features to offer you the best riding experience.

What charger is required?

Slash+ uses the same TQ charger used with Fuel EXE.

Does it have an app?

Yes! Download the Trek Central app for iOS in the Apple App Store or for Android in the Google Play store and follow the prompts.
