SRAM Eagle Transmission | Trek Bikes

Transition to transmission

Revolutionise your ride with next-level strength, simple set-up and pristine shifting through the rowdiest trails – and even under load. SRAM’s Eagle AXS Transmission takes your bike’s group set to the next level with a wireless direct-mount interface that’s stronger than ever before, while elevating shifting performance for crisp and precise shifts that seem to get even smoother the harder you hammer.

The toughest system on the trail

For years, traditional bike drivetrains have used a small and easily breakable derailleur hanger to secure your rear derailleur to the bike. It often didn’t take more than a knock from a root or rock to bend or snap, leaving you high and dry if you didn’t have a back-up in your pack. SRAM AXS T-Type bypasses those pesky derailleur hangers with a direct-mount application that connects to your rear dropouts and axle, creating an interface that’s not only stronger, but requires less tweaking to get perfect shifts.

No mind-numbing adjustments. No broken derailleur hangers. Just clean shifting, durability and lightweight performance.

Crisp, clean shifts

SRAM’s T-Type rear derailleur does a lot of heavy lifting to offer smooth shifts. It starts with the direct-mount system, which keeps the cassette and derailleur aligned at all times, but the derailleur doesn’t do all the work on its own.

The derailleur pairs with a stronger, thinner chain and a cassette that’s engineered with mapping that controls when and where shifts happen to keep every shift as precise as possible. This mapping helps your chain engage with the cog you’re currently in and the cog you’re shifting into at the same time, allowing you to put power down through the whole shift – perfect for keeping momentum when you need to quickly downshift on technical climbs.

Intuitive. Adaptable.

Install with ease and minimal adjustment, and ride as-is thanks to the simple set-up and intuitive controls. Plus, you can customise your SRAM AXS Pod to shift exactly how you want, when you want.

Top Fuel XX and X0

Sometimes less is more. The Top Fuel is a shorter-travel full-suspension trail bike ready for all-day pedal fests. It’s just as happy hammering out miles on smooth-rolling cross-country singletrack as it is dipping over the backside of the mountain to explore off-the-beaten-track adventures.

Fuel EX XX and X0

Are you up to get down? The Fuel EX is fast on singletrack, capable in the rough and a jack of all trails wherever you ride it. But you don’t have to take our word for it – it even earned Pinkbike’s coveted 2022 Bike of the Year award.

Fuel EXe XX and X0

Want a natural-feeling boost on your ride? The Fuel EXe offers smooth assist that doesn’t overdo it. With just enough power to make climbing a breeze, and a lightweight, nimble ride that feels like a traditional trail bike, the Fuel EXe is the go-to for those who want an e-bike that doesn’t look or sound like an e-bike.

Rail X0

Get serious power for serious trail days. The Rail is the choice for riders who want to blast up climbs effortlessly with a full-powered steed. It’s built for those who consider the trail their second home and want a ride that rips as hard as its non-electric siblings.

If your mountain bike has a universal derailleur hanger (UDH), good news! It’s T-Type compatible. Here at Trek, we’ve put more SRAM Eagle T-Type-compatible bikes into the marketplace than any other brand.
