+3.7 watt savings

The new Race Dual-Compound places firmer rubber at the centre tread and softer rubber on the shoulders for cornering traction resulting in a +3.7-watt savings in rolling resistance over R3 TLR. (R3 TLR 28c vs. Aeolus RSL 28c at 22 mph (35 km/h) and 150 lbs. (68 kg) of load on a single tyre using Trek’s in-house treadmill).
