You enjoy riding your bike for fun, fitness, commutes, and errands. You want a light, capable hybrid bike that will stand up to your every adventure whim, with features that keep you comfortable over a variety of terrain.
The tech you get
A lightweight aluminum frame with sleek internal cable routing and rack and fender mounts, wide 650b wheels and wide 50c tires for capability and comfort on varied terrain, a reliable 2x9 Shimano drivetrain with a wide range of gearing so you're never pedaling too hard or too soft, comfortable ergonomic grips, and powerful hydraulic disc brakes for all-weather stopping power.
The final word
Dual Sport 2 is an all-terrain hybrid bike that’s built for adventure on or off the road. Whether you want to explore gravel paths or commute to work, this bike will give you the capability and confidence to do it!
Why you'll love it
Stiff wheels and wide tires give you the terrain-smoothing comfort and confidence of a suspension fork without the added weight
Versatile gravel tires are fast on pavement and grippy on rougher terrain
The cables are routed internally, which protects them from the elements and adds to the bike's sleek look
It's easy to accessorize your frame with racks, a kickstand, fenders, lights, and more!
Choose from the lighter Dual Sport Gen 5 with its nimble 27.5˝ wheels and extra mounts or the rugged Dual Sport Gen 4 with a road-smoothing suspension fork and quick 700c wheels.
Weighing in lighter than ever before, Dual Sport is easy to maneuver, fun to pedal, and simple to store after your ride.
Built for bags
New mounting points pair with Bontrager Advanture Bags to securely mount bags to your bike without tons of straps and bungees. Simply bolt on, load up, roll out.
Ready for anything
Tons of mounts on the frame and fork make Dual Sport perfect for any kind of ride. Add racks, fenders, and accessories for commutes or adventuring beyond.
Upgrade your pedals and love your bike more
Pedals are two of the five touchpoints that connect you with your bike, and even though this bike comes with a pair, upgrading to pedals that boost control and grip will greatly improve your ride. See the pedal guide and find the best pedals for your riding style. We recommend flat pedals for simple versatility.
This bike has a maximum total weight limit (combined weight of bicycle, rider, and cargo) of 300 pounds (136 kg).

How tall are you?
To measure your height, stand straight up, barefoot, with your back, heels, shoulders and head all touching a wall. While looking straight ahead, place a book or straight edge on your head and slowly push it against the wall. Your straight edge should be parallel with the floor. Mark the spot where the bottom of the book is touching the wall. The distance from the marked spot to the floor is your height.
What is your inseam?
How to measure: Stand barefoot with your back straight and against a wall. Tuck a ruler or something that extends to the floor between your legs. Using both hands, and keeping it level, pull the ruler up into your crotch as if you were sitting on the saddle. Measure the distance from the top edge of the ruler to the ground to find your inseam measurement. Your inseam is very important to your final bike size so please measure carefully.
