When can I pick up my bike?
You can pick up your bike during any of our operating hours.
If you’re going to be late or miss your pick-up date, please call Trek Bicycle Girona at +34 872552616 and provide the team with your expected arrival time. We will adjust your rental details according to your late arrival and our store hours.
What’s included with my rental?
Your rental automatically includes:
- A bike
- A helmet
- A front and rear light
- A light charger
- A flat repair kit including cartridge
- A spare tube
- A bike lock
- Ride with GPS link including local routes
- E-bike battery charger
By request, you can also get:
- A phone mount on the bike
- A Garmin GPS mount on the bike
- A Wahoo GPS mount on the bike
- Floor pump
- Different pedal options like Shimano SPD, Shimano SPD-SL, or platform pedals

What if I need to change my bike size?

Will I get a bike fit?
To ensure your comfort, our team always provides a complete bike fit when you arrive for your rental.
Do you have guides?
Your bike rental does not include a guide. However, if you’d like to learn about other ways to see the world by bike, check out Trek Travel’s guided and self-guided cycling trips.

Do you provide bike routes?
We provide our guests with a few suggested local routes and highly recommend downloading the Ride with GPS app ahead of time. About a week before your rental begins, we will email you a Ride with GPS link that also includes our suggested local routes.

What if there is an issue with the bike during my rental period?
Your bike rental will include a spare tube and the tools to fix a flat if necessary. We will also provide you with taxi and emergency phone numbers for any additional assistance you may need. In the case of a severe mechanical emergency, please contact Trek Bicycle Girona during our store operating hours at +34 872552616.
Do you provide a spare tire and pump?
Yes! We provide you with a spare tube and a flat repair kit.
What if I run out of battery for my electric bike?
Each e-bike rental comes with a charger for its battery. We suggest charging the battery each night after riding and checking that it's fully charged before your next ride.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your pick-up date will receive a full deposit refund minus a $10 processing fee. If your deposit fee was less than $10, then no refund will be given. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your pick-up date are not eligible for a refund. Rental items may require a security deposit up to the item’s value amount at the time of pick-up.
What if I want to extend my rental for longer?
Can I return my bike early if there’s inclement weather?
You can return your bike early; however, we cannot offer any refunds for early returns. Please see our cancellation policy below:
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your pick-up date will receive a full refund of the deposit fee minus a $10 processing fee. If your deposit fee was less than $10, then no refund will be given. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your pick-up date are not eligible for a refund. Rental items may require a security deposit up to the item’s value amount at the time of pick-up.
Can I collect the bike the night before my rental?
Please pick up your bike on the day that your rental begins.
How do I get to Girona?
We recommend flying into the Barcelona (BCN) airport, then taking public transportation or a taxi to Barcelona Sants Station. From there, you can take a train from Barcelona to Girona. Trains typically depart hourly from this station. Book your train ticket at www.renfe.com.

Can I leave my luggage with you while I ride?
We offer day lockers for small items, a changing room, and bathrooms. For larger luggage items, we suggest storing these with your hotel or accommodation.
Can I ride directly from the pick-up point?
Yes! We offer luggage storage, a changing room, bathrooms, and day lockers for small items. Since Trek Bicycle Girona is located right in the city center, we have loads of great routes that begin right outside our front door.
Will I be charged for the bike if it’s lost or stolen?
In the case of theft, you will be responsible for paying the original purchase price of the bike and any stolen accessories. You’ll be provided with a lock to help keep your bike secure while you’re out and about.
Will I be charged for damage to the bike or accessories?
In the case of damage, you will be responsible for paying to repair or replace the accessories or equipment. In the event of a crash, you will be responsible for paying the original purchase price of the bike.
Do you have child seats?
We do not provide child seats.
