The race is on
It’s fast. It’s fun. It’s the Memorial Park Criterium Series! Join us every Wednesday night from July 10 through August 28 at the Memorial Park Picnic Loop to test your speed and soak up the thrill of crit racing.
Not an expert racer? Great! This series is an awesome place to make the leap into crit racing. Beginners will find a welcoming environment with several race options to choose from. Plus, even the youngest speedsters can get in on the fun with a few laps on the free kids' course!
All proceeds from the series will benefit the Alkek Velodrome, a Houston staple for cycling excellence operated by the Greater Houston Cycling Foundation (GHCF).

Race rules and information
· This is a USAC-sanctioned series. All USAC rules apply.
· Junior racers must wear junior gear.
· All riders must wear a helmet while on a bike.
· The course for each race is a closed loop.
· Points are awarded to the top eight places.
· There will be awesome prizes worth racing for! Award amounts and items will vary each week.
· There will be no parking available at Picnic Loop. Please use the Running Complex or Clay Family Eastern Glades parking areas.
